The atlas includes 18 study components, 119 linked terms, five published-study walkthroughs, and worked illustrations. Open a component for its constituent parts, protocol decisions, examples, and reading trail. Follow a technical term into its definition and related concepts.

A tool for thinking with.

The resource draws on Ledford & Gast’s 2018 textbook, course materials, and cited original studies. Source-derived questions and new teaching illustrations are labeled in the guide. Its purpose is to support careful reading and discussion, including the limits of a study’s evidence.

The current atlas is in English. Portuguese and Spanish introductions are available here; the technical resource itself has not yet been translated.
