Where research meets a school day.
Educators make countless decisions in the middle of real, complicated situations. Through STEP, I have co-facilitated professional learning that brings trauma-informed ideas into conversations about relationships, behavior, and classroom practice.
My contribution.
I bring experience in special education, classroom teaching, and educational assessment to a collaborative facilitation team. My role includes helping make research-based strategies concrete, working through classroom situations, and adapting explanations for different audiences.
What we work through.
The workshops connect relationship building, clear expectations, behavior-specific praise, co-regulation, and communication with students and caregivers. The focus is on giving educators opportunities to consider how these ideas might fit their own settings.
The work is collaborative.
Workshop materials document co-facilitation with Rachel Bond and Celine Mudahakana, including sessions in November 2025 and April 2026. STEP is a shared project; this page describes my contribution rather than claiming sole authorship of the program or curriculum.
